Chapel Hill
Woodturn4ers
May 12, 2014
Mr. Keith Yow
Cedar Ridge High School
1125 New Grady Brown School Road
Hillsborough, NC 27278
Dear Mr. Yow,
During our club meeting on April 24, 2014, the members of the Chapel Hill
Woodturners voted unanimously to provide $500 to Cedar Ridge High School as
matching funds for your Orange County Arts Commission proposal for equipment
to establish a creative woodturning program. We understand that this equipment,
if funded, will become the property of Cedar Ridge High School.
Our members also agreed to provide instructional support, as needed, for
this program with lesson plans, demonstrations, workshops, and miscellaneous
non-cash donations of tools and materials.
The Chapel Hill Woodturners look forward to continuing our association
with Cedar Ridge High School as a function of our community and outreach
efforts.
Sincerely,
Orlan Johnson, President
