Resumes of Key Artists/Administrators <br /> Paul Frellick (Artistic Director) is in his thirteenth season as founding Artistic Director of the Deep Dish <br /> Theater Company. He has directed many of the company's productions, from the inaugural production <br /> of Endgame to last season's Next to Normal, and the recent world premiere of A Queer Kiss. <br /> Elsewhere in the Triangle, he directed Adam Sobsey's Hang Town Fry in conjunction with A Southern <br /> Season; produced and directed A Walk in the Woods and the American premiere of Rainshark for the <br /> GlobalArts Initiative; and staged productions for Manbites Dog Theater Company, Burning Coal Theatre <br /> Company, and the ArtsCenter in Carrboro. Before coming to North Carolina, he served as Artistic <br /> Director of Chicago's Organic Theater, and he has directed for such theaters as the Indiana Repertory <br /> Theater, the Denver Center Theatre Company, and the Idaho Shakespeare Festival. <br /> Kit FitzSimons (Theater Manager)joined Deep Dish's administrative staff this past fall, overseeing all <br /> daily business, development, and marketing tasks, and serving the board in whatever additional <br /> capacity necessary. He is an active member of the improv comedy community, as both performer and <br /> coach (DSI Comedy Theater). He has previously acted in a number of Deep Dish productions (How 1 <br /> Got That Story, Is He Dead?, Baltimore Waltz). <br /> JJ Bauer (Company Stage Manager) has been a stage manager, props manager, costume designer, <br /> set designer and completely unwilling actor for various area theater companies, including Ghost & <br /> Spice Productions, NC State TheatreFest, The Open Door Theatre, Street Signs Center for Literature <br /> and Performance, and Wordshed Productions. She is the Deep Dish Production Stage Manager. <br /> Tony Lea (Resident Director) has directed thirteen shows in thirteen seasons and will be directing the <br /> upcoming A Kid Like Jake. Most recently he directed Good People and She Stoops to Conquer. He <br /> has also acted for area companies including Raleigh Ensemble Players and Burning Coal.
