ti' <br />hours per month. (3) Effective November 30, 2006, 2 days per year paid personal leave will be <br />available. (4) Upon Ms. Blackmon's termination of employment with Orange County, by <br />retirement or otherwise, she shall receive a cash payment equal in amount to any accumulated <br />vacation leave. <br />7. Vested right in the North Carolina Local Government Retirement System as <br />prescribed by law; after five (5) years of service Ms. Blackmon will be eligible for monthly <br />retirement benefits based on salary, age and years. of service. <br />8. Participation in either or both of the County's 457 and 401(k) plans; a 5% of <br />compensation employer contribution to the County's 401(k) plan. <br />9. Family health insurance (including Ms. Blackmon) consistent with coverage of <br />full time, permanent County employees. This coverage will be provided effective December 1, <br />2006. <br />10. Payment of membership fees and reimbursement for travel expenses associated <br />with membership in the following associations: ICMA, NACo, The Innovation Group and <br />NCCCMA. <br />11. Reimbursement for reasonable County-related business expenses. <br />12. Reimbursement in an amount not to exceed $10,000 for actual, out of pocket <br />expenses associated with Ms. Blackmon's relocation, including packing, moving, storage, <br />insurance, unpacking of household, temporary housing if necessary including the cost of airline <br />tickets, hotels, and a rental car in seeking a new home. <br />13. The County has a policy, Policy Number 0470, providing generally for the <br />defense of and indemnification of County employees.
