Magnolia Klezmer Band- Century Center; 3:00- Magnolia's unique sound comes from the
mingling of musicians with roots in a panorama of musical traditions: Klezmer, Balkan, Jazz,
brass band, polka, and classical. The band continues to expand its repertoire: most recently with
additions from Vaudeville and from the world of Russian cabaret music. Now twelve years old,
MKB numbers 12 -15 regular members who perform in the 'industrial strength' concert band.
Smaller subgroups, from 5 to 8 in number play for weddings, bar-bat mitzvahs, parties, benefits,
and other celebrations.
Barrowburn- Looking Glass Cafe; 3:00- Barrowburn is a Raleigh,NC based band presenting
traditional Celtic music on acoustic instruments for dances, public performances, group
meetings, and private engagements throughout North Carolina. Barrowburn prides itself in its
versatility. They are equally at home ripping through a set of jigs or reels as they are rendering
the simple beauty of a slow air or lament. They perform both legacy and contemporary ballads
from the tradition as well as comical pub songs that are best accompanied by a swinging pint of
Guinness. In concert, they demonstrate their love for Celtic music, but do so from an American
perspective.
Off The Road Band- PNC Bank; 6:00- The Off the Road Band is exactly that, traveling the side
tracks and byways of American music-a unique blend of many styles, including blues, bluegrass,
jug band and good old rock and roll. And though you might occasionally hear an unusual
arrangement of a classic tune, most of the band's offerings are its own original compositions.
Based in Chapel Hill/Pittsboro, NC, the sextet is made up of Don Johnson on rhythm guitar,
Dave Haynes on drums, Bill Joyner on banjo, Betsy Clarke on fiddle and percussion, Mike
Chandler on electric and upright bass and Mitch Renkow on accordion and electric lead guitar.
All members contribute vocally and help write songs.
Mirror7- Auto Logic/Peck/Carrboro Music- 1:15- Born and raised in North Carolina, Adam
wrote his first song at 10, picked up a guitar at 12, and never looked back. Mirror7's music is a
collection of his original songs. They are written from the viewpoint that what we in the South
have to say about life, love, and God is just as important as the messages that are streamlined and
pumped out of pop radio everyday. Mirror7 is armed with an attitude but grounded by humble
beginnings. Our faithful fans are the hard-working, (predominantly)blue-collar backbone of
America
Tracy S. Feldman- Balanced Movement Studio- 7:00- Tracy S. Feldman is a high-
