3 <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: Although this item does not have an immediate financial impact, the <br /> associated activity relates to the process to expend half-cent transit sales tax revenue and the <br /> $7 county vehicle registration fees. The expansion of the proposed OPT services are to be <br /> financially supported in full by these revenue sources. The $3 increase to the TTA regional tag <br /> fee will begin affecting residents in October 2014. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board: <br /> 1. Receive the information from TTA and OPT staff; <br /> 2. Endorse the proposed ODX service to be operated by TTA in central Orange County; and <br /> 3. Receive and consider any possible necessary discussion regarding the proposed <br /> program Options #1 and #2 (Attachment 3) for OPT and potentially consider <br /> endorsement of one of the options if deemed appropriate at this time. <br />
