The following <br />items are proposed for consideration at the November 20, 2006 Quarterly Public .Hearing. <br />A. PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS <br />1. Zoning Atlas Amendment: Request by Brian and Lydia Gilmour to rezone a portion of <br />their property at 6500 Yarborough Road (TMBL 3.54..2A) from Existing Commercial-V <br />(EC-5) to Agricultural Residential (AR). There is an undeveloped portion of the property <br />zoned EC-5 and applicants desire to eliminate the EC-5 zoning designation altogether. <br />2. Hillsborough & Orange County Strategic Growth Plan Report: Presentation of <br />findings and recommendations contained in the Plan prepared jointly by a Town of <br />Hillsborough/Orange County Steering Committee with the assistance of planning <br />consultants. The focus will be on areas of County jurisdiction surrounding the Town and <br />developing a framework for the exchange of information and approval of developments <br />as well as defining a boundary within which the Town can be expected to grow and <br />provide public services. Citizen comment and Board direction is sought on future actions <br />which may include: <br />• Adoption of the Small Area Plan; and <br />• Recommended amendments to County plans, ordinances, and agreements necessary <br />for implementation of the small area plan. <br />
