School Capital Approved Pay-As- <br /> You-Go Projects CIP FY2014-15 <br /> PURPOSE: To accept and approve the FY2014-19 Orange County Five-Year Capital <br /> Investment Plan, and adopt the County Capital Projects of $6,150,636 and the School Capital <br /> Pay-As-You-Go Projects of$3,724,849 for FY2014-15. <br /> BACKGROUND: For over 20 years, the County has produced a Capital Investment Plan (CIP) <br /> that establishes a budget planning guide related to capital needs for the County as well as <br /> Schools. The current CIP consists of a 5-year plan that is evaluated annually to include year-to- <br /> year changes in priorities, needs, and available resources. <br /> Capital Investment Plan — Overview <br /> The FY 2014-19 CIP includes County Projects, School Projects, Proprietary Projects, and <br /> Special Revenue Projects. <br /> Attachment 1 is the FY2014-19 Capital Investment Plan Overall Summary (individual projects <br /> were provided to the Board of County Commissioners at previous work sessions, and revised <br /> projects presented and discussed at the June 10, 2014 and June 12, 2014 work sessions). <br /> Attachment 2 lists County Capital projects totaling $6,150,636 in FY2014-15. <br />
