Sponsorship funds such as these, assisting with <br /> operational support, have been critical in maintaining a high quality playing surface. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: The current agreement provides for $30,000 per year, plus an <br /> additional $6,000 in matching funds, for$180,000 over the five year period ending on June 30. <br /> The revised agreement would provide $35,000 per year, and if the existing additional <br /> agreement with matching funds arrangement is continued, this scenario would provide <br /> $205,000 ($175,000 + $30,000) or more in revenue over the five year period of the agreement <br /> in exchange for naming rights. The cost of replacing the entrance sign (expected to be under <br /> $5,000) is included in the Manager's Recommended CIP 2014-19, within the Eurosport Soccer <br /> Center project. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the partnership <br /> agreement renewal with Sports Endeavors, Inc. for the next five years, and authorize the Chair <br /> to sign the agreement. <br />
