The public will be able to park anywhere on the deck except for the gate controlled areas <br /> on the lower and upper levels. Spaces 84 through 234, nearest the Nash& Kollock and <br /> Margaret Street entrances will be reserved exclusively for public parking. County <br /> employees assigned to the West Campus should not park in these spaces. <br /> 8. County employees not assigned to West Campus who visit West Campus facilities for <br /> meetings or other business may park in any public space at any time. <br /> 9. County owned vehicles assigned to Departments may park in convenient areas for short <br /> periods of time to load/unload equipment and attend to short meetings and administrative <br /> work. Department Directors will supervise this exception. This is especially relevant to <br /> Environmental Health and IT vehicles that need to access the West Campus Office <br /> Building ground level storage and lab areas through the lower level staff entrance. <br /> 10. Oversized County vehicles that exceed the deck height constraints (services vans with <br /> ladder racks, etc.)will be allowed to park in the public deck area near the Nash& <br /> Kollock entrance in marked spaces only. <br /> 11. Employee owned vehicles that are oversized in length(tip to tip length in excess of 20 <br /> feet) will be required to park in the upper level, gated deck area due to drive aisle safety <br /> and sight line visual constraints associated with the sheer size of the <br /> vehicles. Department Directors will supervise their employees who own these types of <br /> vehicles. <br /> 12. Asset Management Services will issue magnetized,removable window decals that will <br /> replace the rearview mirror hangtags. These decals will need to be placed in a visible <br /> location on the inside of the windshield. <br /> 13. Handicapped employees identified by the Department Director may be granted an <br /> exception for parking near an identified handicapped space without absorbing the space <br /> for the public's use. <br /> 14. Spaces #82 and#83 are private property and do not belong to the County. Neither <br /> County employees nor the public should park in these spaces. <br /> 15. Surface parking in front of the three buildings within West Campus—Gateway Center, <br /> West Campus Office Building, and the Library, are for the exclusive use of the public <br /> and are not available to County employees assigned to West Campus at any time. Spaces <br /> along Nash& Kollock are available for either the public or County employee personally <br /> owned vehicles. <br /> 16. County employee owned vehicles may not park overnight within any area of the <br /> deck. As an exception(i.e. official travel accommodations, etc.), County employees <br /> assigned to the West Campus may park overnight within the gated areas of the deck with <br /> permission of the Department Director. <br /> 17. During announced inclement weather(or imminent inclement weather), County owned <br /> vehicles may park"under cover"within the deck areas outside of the upper level gated <br /> area. <br />
