RES-2014-040 <br /> funded as an SRTS project, the County will be required to commit a 20% local match and must <br /> locally administer the project. <br /> 7 Trail Connection from Patriot's Pointe to Timbers Drive: Construct a multi-use path connecting <br /> the southwest corner of Patriots Pointe to Timbers Drive to shorten walking distances for <br /> pedestrians. <br /> This project was submitted and scored as a new pedestrian project for consideration of <br /> inclusion in the DCHC MPO regional priority list and MTIP as well as the 2016-2022 STIP. The <br /> project was submitted and scored as a Safe Routes to School (SRTS)-eligible project; <br /> however, if it is not funded as an SRTS project, the County will be required to commit a 20% <br /> local match and agree to locally administer the project. <br /> Transit Projects: <br /> Request/purchase three (3), 25-foot, 18-passenger light transit vehicles to accommodate bus service <br /> expansion as recommended in the Orange County Bus and Rail Investment Plan (OCBRIP) and the <br /> draft Five-Year Orange County Bus Service Expansion Program currently under development. <br /> 1 Expansion Vehicle #1 for FY 2016: This project was submitted and scored as a transit project <br /> for consideration of inclusion in the DCHC MPO regional priority list and MTIP as well as the <br /> 2016-2022 STIP. <br /> 2 Expansion Vehicle #2 for FY 2016: This project was submitted and scored as a transit project <br /> for consideration of inclusion in the DCHC MPO regional priority list and MTIP as well as the <br /> 2016-2022 STIP. <br /> 3 Expansion Vehicle #3 for FY 2017: This project was submitted and scored as a transit project <br /> for consideration of inclusion in the DCHC MPO regional priority list and MTIP as well as the <br /> 2016-2022 STIP. <br /> Rail Project: <br /> 1 Hillsborough Train Station: Construct a train station in Hillsborough and implement AMTRAK <br /> service. <br /> This project was submitted and scored as a new rail project by Triangle Transit for <br /> consideration of inclusion in the DCHC MPO regional priority list and MTIP tell as the <br /> 2016-2022 STIP. <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner seconded by Commissioner <br /> the foregoing resolution was adopted this the 3 day of June, 2014. <br /> I, Donna Baker, Clerk to the Board of Commissioners for the County of Orange, North Carolina, DO <br /> HEREBY CERTIFY that the fo in rue copy of so much of the proceedings of said Board at a <br /> meeting held on June 3, 2 ` f' any way to the adoption f the foregoing and that said <br /> proceedings are recorded ai Board. <br /> WITNESS my hand and t e e u ty this_3 day f 014. <br /> 52 <br /> 17 <br /> "th �a`o`.fie Cle t Board of Commissioners <br />
