The contracts the County enters into with "In -Home Aid Services" providers include provisions <br />encouraging providers to compensate employees at the County's "living wage" or higher. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: The Home and Community Care Block Grant for FY 2014 -15 provides a <br />total of $562,848 to support a network of aging services throughout Orange County. The <br />required match is provided through funds already included within Departmental and Outside <br />Agency operating budgets. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the Home and <br />Community Care Block Grant Funding Plan for FY 2014 -15 in the amount of $562,848 and <br />authorize the Chair to sign the grant documents. <br />
