Gordon, Earl McKee, Bernadette Pelissier, Renee Price and Penny Rich <br />14 COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: <br />15 COUNTY ATTORNEYS PRESENT: John Roberts <br />16 COUNTY STAFF PRESENT: Assistant County Manager Clarence Grier, and Clerk to the <br />17 Board Donna Baker (All other staff members will be identified appropriately below) <br />18 <br />19 Chair Jacobs called the meeting to order. <br />20 1. Cedar Grove Community Center Project Update <br />21 Jeff Thompson introduced this item and reviewed the following PowerPoint slide: <br />22 <br />23 CEDAR GROVE COMMUNITY CENTER <br />24 Project Update — March 11, 2014 <br />25 Intended Outcome <br />26 Receive an update regarding requested information from the Board of County <br />27 Commissioners during its November 12, 2013 work session; <br />28 Confirm the project plan as approved in the FY2013 -14 Capital Investment Plan; <br />29 or <br />30 Provide new direction to staff. <br />31 <br />32 John Thomas with MBAJ Architecture reviewed the following PowerPoint slides: <br />33 <br />34 Existing Conditions (5 graphic /map slides) <br />35 Proposed Site Plan (map - assuming wings remain) <br />36 Proposed Floor Plan (blueprint) <br />37 <br />38 Occupancy <br />39 Septic Capacity <br />40 - 1,400 gals /day <br />41 Full Day Use (8 hours) <br />42 - 140 persons <br />43 Half Day Use (4 hours) <br />44 - 220 persons <br />45 <br />46 John Thomas reviewed the maps and blueprint slides of the existing conditions. He said <br />47 there are 3 component parts, including the main center and 2 distinct classroom wings. He said <br />48 the building currently acts as the entrance to Cedar Grove Park, which is scheduled for <br />49 continued development and expansion over the next 5 to 10 years. <br />
