3 <br /> 2) The owner of the Cecelia Redding farm has submitted an application to enroll three <br /> (3) parcels of land totaling 151.06 acres as qualifying farmland for the Enhanced <br /> Voluntary Agricultural District (EVAD) program in the Caldwell Agricultural District. <br /> The farm operation is comprised of hay and grain crops, fruit and vegetable <br /> production crops, shitake mushrooms, and managed forestry/woodland The <br /> Redding farm has been evaluated against each of the EVAD certification <br /> requirement standards and meets or exceeds all of the measures above <br /> 3) The owners of Parker Farms, T Watson Parker, Penny Parker and Thomas Parker, <br /> have submitted an application to enroll six (6) parcels of land totaling 82 22 acres as <br /> qualifying farmland for the Voluntary Agricultural District (VAD) program in the Cedar <br /> Grove Agricultural District The farm operation is comprised of a poultry operation, <br /> beef cattle, hay crops, and managed forestry/woodland The Parker Farm has been <br /> evaluated against each of the VAD certification requirement standards and meets or <br /> exceeds all of the measures above <br /> 4) The owners of the David and Vickie McKee farm have submitted an application to <br /> enroll one (1) parcel of land totaling 95 55 acres as qualifying farmland for the <br /> Enhanced Voluntary Agricultural District (EVAD) program in the Cane <br /> Creek/Buckhorn Agricultural District; four (4) parcels of land totaling 52 09 acres of <br /> qualifying farmland in the Cane Creek/Buckhorn Agricultural District, and two (2) <br /> parcels of land totaling 21 15 acres of qualifying farmland in the Caldwell Agricultural <br /> District for the Voluntary Agricultural Program (VAD) The farm operation is <br /> comprised of a beef cattle operation, pasture, corn, soybean, grain, hay crops, and <br /> managed forestry/woodland The McKee farm has been evaluated against each of <br /> the EVAD and VAD certification requirement standards and meets or exceeds all of <br /> the measures above <br /> 5) The owner of the Ben Johnson farm has submitted an application to enroll one (1) <br /> parcel of land totaling 71 02 acres as qualifying farmland for the Voluntary <br /> Agricultural District (VAD) program in the Schley/Eno Agricultural District The farm <br /> operation is comprised of vegetables, pumpkins, corn crops and pasture The <br /> Johnson farm has been evaluated against each of the VAD certification requirement <br /> standards and meets or exceeds all of the measures above. (These acres are a <br /> revision in ownership from the original Bacon/Johnson farm enrolled in 2002 ) <br /> 6) The owners of the John and Cindy Soehner farm have submitted an application to <br /> enroll two (2) parcels of land totaling 22 31 acres as qualifying farmland for the <br /> Voluntary Agricultural District (VAD) program in the White Cross Agricultural District <br /> The farm operation is comprised of vegetable crops, shitake mushrooms, and <br /> woodland/forestry The Soehner Farm has been evaluated against each of the VAD <br /> certification requirement standards and meets or exceeds all of the measures <br /> above <br /> 7) The owner of the Randall Parker farm has submitted an application to enroll five (5) <br /> parcels of land totaling 9418 acres as qualifying farmland for the Voluntary <br /> Agricultural District (VAD) program in the Caldwell Agricultural District The farm <br /> operation is comprised of hay, grain and tobacco crops, pastured pork and poultry, <br /> and managed woodland/forestry.
