• Project Experience <br /> Michael Brame, PWS <br /> • Mr. Brame conducted a wetland delineation on an approximate 700 acre site in Iredell <br /> County, NC. The delineation was verified by the United States Army Corps of Engineers <br /> and the North Carolina Division of Water Resources. Due to proposed impacts, Mr. Brame <br /> coordinated multiple pre-application meetings with the client, client's attorneys and <br /> representatives with various state and federal regulatory agencies. Mr. Brame completed <br /> an Individual Permit for the construction of an approximate 26 acre lake. The process <br /> included on-site and compensatory mitigation, completion of a detailed alternatives <br /> analysis and measures to avoid and minimize impacts. A conservation easement was used <br /> to help off-set the required compensatory mitigation. <br /> • Mr. Brame has completed approximately 50 NCDOT borrow/waste site evaluations. The <br /> evaluations consist of wetland and stream determinations/delineations, threatened and <br /> endangered species evaluations and assistance with reclamation designs. Mr. Brame has <br /> experience doing these projects across the state of North Carolina. <br /> • Mr. Brame has completed over 500 Phase I ESAs on properties ranging in size up to 2,000 <br /> acres. Properties have included greenfield, residential, commercial and industrial <br /> properties. In addition, as a Principal, Mr. Brame has reviewed over 1,000 Phase I ESAs. <br /> • Mr. Brame has completed approximately 50 Transaction Screen Questionnaires to assist <br /> lenders/purchasers comply with due diligence requirements during property transactions. <br /> As a Principal, Mr. Brame has reviewed over 100 Transaction Screen Questionnaires. <br /> • Mr. Brame has assisted in the preparation of stream, wetland and buffer restoration <br /> projects in North Carolina. Mr. Brame's role has included assistance during the agency <br /> approval, design,construction management and post construction monitoring. <br /> • Mr.Brame has completed environmental services on over 30 solar projects across the state <br /> of North Carolina. The services include preparation of Phase I ESAs, wetland delineations <br /> and limited National Environmental Policy Act studies. Agency verifications have been <br /> included. In addition, Mr. Brame has coordinated with the State Historic Preservation <br /> Office and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for their concurrence with project goals. <br /> • Mr. Brame has performed detailed threatened and endangered species studies for <br /> properties including a proposed solar farm situated on an approximate 500 acre tract in <br /> Rutherford County, North Carolina. Scope of services included a site reconnaissance, <br /> vegetative and wildlife habitat description and coordination with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife <br /> Service. The detailed study identified existing populations of Dwarf-flowered Heartleaf <br /> within the project area. <br />
