Additionally, properties are eligible only if they meet all of the following requirements: <br />K <br />• The property must require at least $5,000 of improvements in order to meet SFR <br />Rehabilitation Standards. <br />• The property must be free of environmental hazards and other nuisances as <br />defined by all applicable codes or regulations, or any such hazards or nuisances <br />must be corrected as part of the rehabilitation of the unit. The County's <br />Rehabilitation Specialist will determine whether there are environmental <br />hazards /nuisances present on the site and if they can be removed through <br />rehabilitation. <br />• Properties cannot be located in a right -of —way of any impending or planned <br />public improvements. The County's Rehabilitation Specialist will assist in <br />verifying status. <br />• The property cannot be located on a site that is endangered by mudslides, <br />landslides or other natural or environmental hazards. The Rehabilitation <br />Specialist will work with the homeowner to make this determination, if needed. <br />• Manufactured housing is not eligible for assistance <br />• The property must be current with all taxes. County staff will assist in verifying <br />status. <br />• The property may not be located in a flood hazard area. (Orange County will <br />verify whether the home is in the flood plain.) <br />• The property cannot have been repaired or rehabilitated with public funding of <br />$5,000 or more within the past 10 years. <br />2014 Income Limits for Orange County's <br />Single - Family Rehabilitation Program <br />2 <br />
