<br />The Hoard of Commies Sonere for the County of Orange met 1n regular aesai on
<br />at 10 o~clock A. b1.; 'Monday, Apr11 2, 1951, in the CommSsBionarat Room at~the
<br />Courthouse, the usnel place of meeting.

<br />Several cSti zees appeared with reference to road petl tS one that had been
<br />previously presented. No action was t¢ken by the Board.
<br />Mr. J. L. Poole of Checks Township pre canted a pet itlon, asking that a ro¢
<br />running 11•om the intersection of No. 523 to Cedar Grove-Eflend Road be hard-
<br />surfaced. Length of Road; 3.4 miles.
<br />RSr. Poole wen advised that the allotted mileage for hardaurfaciag roads
<br />in the County had already been approved by the Board, but they would hold his
<br />petition, and if at sours later date they were given more mileage, his petition
<br />would be considered.
<br />Mr. C, W. Davie, Superintendent of the Chapel H111 Schools, presented hie
<br />Cepitnl Outlay request for the next fis cal ye¢r.
<br />The matter of compeneati on of Grnhnm & Eskridge, County Att ornoya for
<br />services rendered and expenses incurred in connection with the authorization
<br />and Sesu¢nce of County Bonds, same be Sag 51,000,000.00 School Building,
<br />$250,000.00 Courthouse and 515,000.00 School Building, wee then brought to the
<br />attention of the Hoard. After full discussion, upon motion of Commisai oner
<br />Laws, seconded by Commleaioner Eflend, the following re solsstion was unaaimouely
<br />adopted:
<br />RESOL4ED, That Graham & Eskridge be pnld the sum of 52000.00 for all eervic s
<br />rendered and all expen sea incurred, to date, in Gonna eti on with the authorize- '
<br />tion and issuance of anticipation notes and bonds. It is ¢lso provided that ,
<br />the said avm shall covor the future services of the said firm in the issuance
<br />~- of the rem¢iaSng authorized bonds if all of said bonds are issued at one and
<br />the same time. Zt Ss authorized that theCOUnty Accountant shall pay the s¢Sd
<br />_. sum of 52000.00 from the County Hond Fund.
<br />The npplic ¢tSon of J. L. Rosamond to take the State Electrical Ezamin¢tion,
<br />wee, upon motion, approved.
