In both employment and volunteer positions, I have worked with
community organizations representing diverse communities and have made inclusion of
such activities an important part of my career and personal focus. I believe in the .
fundamental right of all people to have full access to public services, employment and
living opportunities, and individual dignity. I also believe it takes individuals dedicated to
ensuring there is a safe place for those who experience discrimination to turn to in order
to help resolve specific situations and to create a broader community climate of
acceptance.
I am also very intersted in participating on the Orange County Board of Health. Although
the current vacant position is for a veterinarian, should a position for an at-large member
arise, I would be happy to discuss such a position with you.
