The majority of the original rock <br /> allowance had been used up before the line was even 50%complete. Based on the excavation <br /> remaining and using the same relative percentage of rock encountered so far, an estimated <br /> increase in the rock allowance for this section was proposed to the BOCC and approved on <br /> 12/2/2013. This was approved as a budget amendment for the project, so the money has been <br /> available since then to pay for the continued excavation. This change order will document this <br /> change in rock quantities relative to the original contract documents for the project. <br /> The cost of this change order has been summarized below, along with the summary for Change <br /> Order#1, #2 and#3. Going forward, new change orders can be added to this summary so that all <br /> the change order information will be available in one document for easy review. <br /> Original Contract Price: $4,016,545.74 <br /> - Original rock contingency for water line: $ 67,500.00 (included) <br /> CO#1 $ 15,328.00 <br /> - Extra work to avoid an unmarked 16" force main <br /> - Reroute a 4" water main <br /> - Delays due to easement dispute <br /> - Revised rock contingency for water line: $ 52,172.00 <br /> Net Contract Price Change for CO#1: $ 0.00 <br />
