It's estimated that various staff contribute <br /> approximately 65 hours a week(1.625 FTE) toward communication and outreach <br /> activities. The library's part-time, non-permanent Communications Specialist represents <br /> .5 RE of this time. Service divisions specifically target: 1) youth (babies, toddlers, preschoolers, <br /> school-age children, tweens); 2) teens; and 3) adults. <br /> Subset target audiences of these groups include: <br /> • Seniors <br /> • Job hunters <br /> • Teachers <br /> • Homeschoolers <br /> • Writers/authors <br /> • Non-library users <br /> Process <br /> Some library offerings are communicated directly to the target audiences, while <br /> general library news/initiatives are communicated from the administrative level via the <br /> Communications Specialist, after approval by the Library Director. <br />
