10 <br /> interested in the county's parks, recreation programs,environmental education,environmental issues, <br /> agriculture,historic preservation,ground water,soil,and land conservation. <br /> The Communication Manager works closely with the County Public Information Officer to provide event <br /> information for the digital messaging monitors, press releases,communication planning,and the <br /> promotion of department website. The communication manager also consults with the Public <br /> Information Officer on a regular basis seeking input on ways to best promote DEAPR activities.The <br /> Public Information Officer provides design work,translations services,video production and funding for <br /> many of these promotions. As previously noted DEAPR uses staff resources to promote upcoming <br /> programming via listserve;FaceBook,Twitter, blogging,and program guides. <br /> DEAPR implemented a draft Communications Plan in 2012. <br />
