Affected areas include only those outside municipal <br /> jurisdictions. In November 2012 the GIS Department was put under the direction of the Tax <br /> Administrator. Additionally, the tax office's Land Records/GIS Division Manager, Ms. Tammy <br /> Walker, was appointed Address Administrator per the Ordinance. The Tax Administrator and <br /> the Address Administrator provided a memorandum (Attachment 1) and a verbal report to the <br /> Board at the March 7, 2013 meeting to communicate the plan of action to conform to the goals <br /> behind the ordinance, and to provide an update on the status of the project. <br /> The Ordinance took effect January 1, 2013, and the tax office has been working diligently and <br /> courteously with residents to meet ordinance requirements. A report is provided at Attachment <br /> 2 (with Exhibits) to discuss, in part, a year in review for 2013. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board receive the presentation <br /> as information. <br />
