Matters not on the Printed Agenda <br /> Don O'Leary reiterated the ICLEI issue again, and he asked the Board to remove their <br /> membership from ICLEI. <br /> Chair Jacobs surprised Mr. O'Leary by giving him a framed copy of the cancellation of <br /> Orange County's membership in ICLEI. <br /> Commissioner Dorosin arrived at 7:07 pm. <br /> b. Petitions by Board Members <br /> Commissioner Gordon petitioned the Board to request that the Tax Administrator <br /> provide an update on the addressing ordinance at the January 2014 meeting. <br /> Commissioner McKee asked Michael Talbert about the on-going discussions with <br /> Triangle Transit prior to the January 23rd meeting. He asked if information regarding these <br /> discussions will be forwarded to the Board. <br /> Michael Talbert said an interim report has been issued, and this will be in the <br /> Commissioners' boxes this week. <br /> Commissioner Price petitioned the Board to add the later amendments (11-27) to the <br /> Bill of Rights Day Proclamation, Human Rights Day, and Constitution Day. <br /> Chair Jacobs expressed his support of honoring the entire constitution. <br /> Commissioner Dorosin said, in anticipation of the budget season, he would like to <br /> receive information from the school boards on all areas where the two school systems <br /> collaborate or share resources. <br /> Commissioner Gordon asked Commissioner Dorosin for the specific time period he is <br /> requesting. <br /> Commissioner Dorosin said he would like to see this for the past five years. <br /> Chair Jacobs said he has petitioned for and still has not received a report from Solid <br /> Waste staff on their meeting with the small, private solid waste haulers. <br /> 4. Government Finance Officers' Association (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement <br /> Award <br /> The Board recognized the Financial Services staff of the Orange County Financial <br /> Services Department for earning the Government Finance Officers' Association (GFOA) <br />
