Required for SUP, CUD, CZD, and Major <br />Pre - Application Conference <br />Subdivisions <br />- Strongly recommended for all other projects <br />Application Submittal <br />Staff Representatives of various County <br />DAC (Development Advisory departments and other agencies, as needed <br />Committee) <br />Review /Comments <br />The BOCC would not approve the legal ad in <br />this process. <br />Publish Legal Ad / Mail ' <br />Notifications for Public <br />Hearing <br />Each fall, when the BOCC adopts its <br />meeting schedule for the next calendar year, <br />a minimum of 8 dates (spread throughout <br />the year) would be designated for potential <br />public hearings dates for <br />Public Hearing <br />UDO /Comprehensive Plan- related items. <br />(BOCC only) <br />The public hearings would no longer be <br />joint BOCC /Planning Board public hearings. <br />Public hearings would be held open to a <br />0 <br />date /time certain in order to receive the <br />Planning Board's recommendation and any <br />Planning Board <br />submitted written comments_ <br />Recommendation 1 <br />A <br />While the Planning Board would not be <br />required to attend the public hearing as an <br />official board, individual Planning Board <br />BOCC Decision members could choose to attend the public <br />hearing to see /hear the proceedings. <br />Additionally, depending on the dates chosen <br />for public hearings and the policy on <br />videotaping the meetings, video of the public <br />hearing would likely be available for viewing on <br />the County's website. <br />
