Harvey, Planner III 245 -2597 <br />Craig Benedict, Director 245 -2592 <br />PURPOSE: To hold a public hearing on an owner - initiated general rezoning petition in <br />accordance with the provisions of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). <br />BACKGROUND: An application was submitted to the Current Planning Division to rezone an <br />approximately 12 acre parcel of property located at 5908 US 70 East in Eno Townshp: <br />FROM: Economic Development Eno Low Intensity (EDE -1); Economic Development <br />Eno High Intensity (EDE -2); and Lower Eno Protected Watershed Protection <br />Overlay. <br />TO: Economic Development Eno High Intensity (EDE -2) and Lower Eno Protected <br />Watershed Protection Overlay. <br />Pertinent facts of the application include the following: <br />Applicant: Donald and Donna Easterlin <br />2826 Devon Road <br />Durham, NC 27707 <br />Agent: Michael Brough <br />Brough Law Firm <br />Chapel Hill North Carolina <br />Rezoning Location: 5809 US Highway 70 East. Please refer to Attachment 2 for a <br />vicinity map denoting the subject parcel. <br />Parcel Information: a. PIN — 0803 -11 -5662. <br />b. Size of Parcel — 12 acres in area with approximately 8.6 acres of <br />the property is zoned EDE -2 with the remaining acreage <br />(approximately 3.4 acres) zoned EDE -1. <br />
