Matters not on the Printed Agenda <br />Don O'Leary reiterated the ICLEI issue again, and he asked the Board to remove their <br />membership from ICLEI. <br />Chair Jacobs surprised Mr. O'Leary by giving him a framed copy of the cancellation of <br />Orange County's membership in ICLEI. <br />Commissioner Dorosin arrived at 7:07 pm. <br />b. Matters on the Printed Agenda <br />(These matters will be considered when the Board addresses that item on the agenda <br />below.) <br />23 3. Petitions by Board Members <br />24 Commissioner Gordon petitioned the Board to request that the Tax Administrator <br />25 provide an update on the addressing ordinance at the January 2014 meeting. <br />26 Commissioner McKee asked Michael Talbert about the on -going discussions with <br />27 Triangle Transit prior to the January 23rd meeting. He asked if information regarding these <br />28 discussions will be forwarded to the Board. <br />29 Michael Talbert said an interim report has been issued, and this will be in the <br />30 Commissioners' boxes this week. <br />31 Commissioner Price petitioned the Board to add the later amendments (11 -27) to the Bill <br />32 of Rights Day Proclamation, Human Rights Day, and Constitution Day. <br />33 Chair Jacobs expressed his support of honoring the entire constitution. <br />34 Commissioner Dorosin said, in anticipation of the budget season, he would like to <br />35 receive information from the school boards on all areas where the two school systems <br />36 collaborate or share resources. <br />37 Commissioner Gordon asked Commissioner Dorosin for the specific time period he is <br />38 requesting. <br />39 Commissioner Dorosin said he would like to see this for the past five years. <br />40 Chair Jacobs said he has petitioned for and still has not received a report from Solid <br />41 Waste staff on their meeting with the small, private solid waste haulers. <br />42 <br />43 4. Government Finance Officers' Association (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement <br />46 Award <br />47 The Board recognized the Financial Services staff of the Orange County Financial <br />48 Services Department for earning the Government Finance Officers' Association (GFOA) <br />49 Certificate of Achievement for the June 30, 2012 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report <br />50 (CAFR). <br />
