George Spransy, resident of Dogwood Acres, appeared before the Board to make <br /> 1f-inquiry about the following items: <br /> ( First: Mr. Spransy's first question pertained to whether or not Orange County <br /> had a anti-noise ordinance. <br /> Second: Mr. Spransy also requested that Dogwood Acres Extension be considered <br /> �j by the Board or State Highway Commission for improvement and/or <br /> paving. He stated that numerous petitions had been submitted by the <br /> property owners of the area, but that no improvements had been made. <br /> i <br /> Third: Mr. Spransy raised questions pertaining to the lack of fire protection I <br /> for the residents of Dogwood Acres. <br /> Chairman Bennett advised Mr. Spransy that no anti-noise ordinance existed and l` <br /> ;that any disturb ance in the area should be reported to the Sheriff's department. <br /> '!That the count board had no authority over the policies of the State Highway <br /> !Commission concerning road improvement and that the inquiry pertaining to fire <br /> �fprotection should be pursued by contacting the Carrboro Town Board. <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner Walker, seconded by Commissioner Ray the <br /> ;Ifollowing Blind Agenda was approved. <br /> AID TO THE BLIND AGENDA 1 <br /> Jul y 5 1966 <br /> � f <br /> ijNAME EFF. Palmer, Senior Regional Planner, <br /> requesting that the Orange County Board of Commissioners consider including Orange I!, <br /> jlCounty in the Census Tract Program which will be conducted by the United States <br /> (Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census. Said letter pointed out the benefits <br /> „that might be derived from the potential users of such statistics as being Chambers <br /> ':;of Commerce, Banks, Social Agents, Schools, etc. f! <br /> ii! it <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner Smith, seconded by Commissioner Cleveland, and <br /> ,;unanimously adopted, that:.the.-clerk advise Harry J.
