Orange County NC 12 <br />Radio Communication Tower and System Infrastructure Upgrade <br />RF Coverage and Sites /Towers <br />G000lt earth 1 1000 <br />ate soo <br />Figure 1 - Alternate Site for Southeast VIPER <br />2.9.6 ATC Site — Hilisborough (Walnut Grove Church Rd.) <br />At the request of Orange County, FE reviewed the proposed site on Walnut Grove <br />Church Road, and predicted 800 MHz RF coverage from this site. <br />Figure 9, in Section 2.1.7, depicts portable talk -in RF coverage from only this site. <br />Figure 10, in Section 1.2.7, depicts RF coverage with this site added to the overall site <br />constellation (existing VIPER sites plus the four sites noted above. <br />This site does provide limited fill -in of coverage areas that were below the required <br />audio quality DAQ 3.4 levels. <br />Orange County should review the RF coverage predictions in the subsequent sections <br />in order to determine if the amount of additional RF coverage justifies the use of this <br />additional site. <br />August 30, 2013 Page 11 of 51 <br />GU <br />
