57 <br />District of Columbia Public Library <br />Library Standards <br />PROJECT TEAM <br />In 2008, the District of Columbia Public Library (DCPL) commissioned <br />Freelon <br />Freelon to create a document which would contain their desired standards <br />for fixtures, furnishings, and equipment to be used in all new and renovated <br />LOCATION <br />Washington, NC <br />Public Libraries in Washington, D.C. The initial selections that are included in the document <br />represent the DCPL's desires and intent during the design and construction <br />of the first round of library projects. As those projects are completed, <br />occupied, and used, items within this document will likely need to be <br />revised and adjusted.
