22 <br /> 1 <br /> 2 19 Dairyland Road Paved Shoulders: Widen Dairyland Road (SR 1004/1113/1177) from <br /> 3 Union Grove Church Road (SR 1111) to Orange Grove Road (SR 1006) to include four <br /> 4 (4)-foot paved shoulders. <br /> 5 <br /> 6 This project will be submitted as a new bike project for consideration of inclusion in the <br /> 7 DCHC MPO regional priority list and MTIP as well as the 2016-2022 STIP if the County <br /> 8 commits the required 20% local match. The project will be submitted for consideration of <br /> 9 STP-DA funding to be determined internally by the MPO. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 20 Mt. Carmel Church Road Bike/Pedestrian Improvements: Construct bike lanes and <br /> 12 sidewalks from US 15/501 to Bennett Road and bike lanes from Bennett Road to the <br /> 13 Chatham County line. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 This project will be submitted as a new bike project for consideration of inclusion in the <br /> 16 DCHC MPO regional priority list and MTIP as well as the 2016-2022 STIP if the County <br /> 17 commits the required 20% local match. The project will be submitted for consideration of <br /> 18 STP-DA funding to be determined internally by the MPO. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Upon motion of Commissioner seconded by Commissioner <br /> 22 the foregoing resolution was adopted this the 19th day of November, 2013. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 I, Donna Baker, Clerk to the Board of Commissioners for the County of Orange, North Carolina, <br /> 25 DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing is a true copy of so much of the proceedings of said <br /> 26 Board at a meeting held on November 19, 2013, as relates in any way to the adoption of the <br /> 27 foregoing and that said proceedings are recorded in the minutes of said Board. <br /> 28 WITNESS my hand and the seal of said County, this day of 2013. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 A motion was made by Commissioner Gordon, seconded by Commissioner Price to <br /> 33 approve attachment 5 with the following changes: Insert between the "Now, therefore be it <br /> 34 further resolved" paragraph, and Item 1, the following paragraph—"Be it further resolved that <br /> 35 the Orange County Board of Commissioners may re-prioritize the following list of transportation <br /> 36 projects, as more information becomes available in the coming months." <br /> 37 <br /> 38 Commissioner Dorosin confirmed that the right to reprioritize is retained even without <br /> 39 the language. He said he feels the added language is redundant but he said he would vote for <br /> 40 it. <br /> 41 In response to a question from Commissioner Gordon, Bret Martin clarified that it was <br /> 42 not necessary to approve attachments 6 and 7, since they were just provided for the <br /> 43 Commissioners' information.
