21 <br /> 1 <br /> 2 13 Buckhorn Economic Development District (EDD) Park-and-Ride: Construct a park-and- <br /> 3 ride facility to be located in the 1-85/Buckhorn Road EDD. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 This project will be submitted as a new transit project by Triangle Transit or the <br /> 6 Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation (PART) for consideration of inclusion in <br /> 7 the DCHC MPO regional priority list and MTIP as well as the 2016-2022 STIP. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 14 1-40 Widening: Widen 1-40 from four (4) lanes to six (6) lanes from the 1-40/1-85 <br /> 10 interchange to the Durham County line. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 This project will be submitted as a reprioritized highway project for consideration of <br /> 13 inclusion in the DCHC MPO regional priority list and MTIP as well as the 2016-2022 <br /> 14 STIP. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 15 1-85 Widening: Widen 1-85 from four (4) lanes to six (6) lanes from the 1-40/1-85 <br /> 17 interchange to the Durham County line. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 This project will be submitted as a reprioritized highway project for consideration of <br /> 20 inclusion in the DCHC MPO regional priority list and MTIP as well as the 2016-2022 <br /> 21 STIP. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 16 Trail Connection from Patriot's Pointe to Timbers Drive: Construct a multi-use path <br /> 24 connecting the southwest corner of Patriots Pointe to Timbers Drive to shorten walking <br /> 25 distances for pedestrians. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 This project will be submitted as a new pedestrian project for consideration of inclusion <br /> 28 in the DCHC MPO regional priority list and MTIP as well as the 2016-2022 STIP. The <br /> 29 project will be <br /> 30 <br /> 31 <br /> 32 submitted as a Safe Routes to School (SRTS)-eligible project; however, if it is not <br /> 33 funded as an SRTS project, the County will be required to commit a 20% local match. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 17 Trail Connection from English Hill Lane to Buttonwood Drive: Construct a multi-use path <br /> 36 connecting English Hill Lane to Buttonwood Drive. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 This project will be submitted as a new pedestrian project for consideration of inclusion <br /> 39 in the DCHC MPO regional priority list and MTIP as well as the 2016-2022 STIP. The <br /> 40 project will be submitted as a Safe Routes to School (SRTS)-eligible project; however, if <br /> 41 it is not funded as an SRTS project, the County will be required to commit a 20% local <br /> 42 match. <br /> 43 <br /> 44 18 Eubanks Road Bike Lanes: Construct bicycle lanes on Eubanks Road (SR 1727) from <br /> 45 Old NC 86 (SR 1009) to NC 86. <br /> 46 <br /> 47 This project will be submitted as a new bike project for consideration of inclusion in the <br /> 48 DCHC MPO regional priority list and MTIP as well as the 2016-2022 STIP if the County <br /> 49 commits the required 20% local match. The project will be submitted for consideration of <br /> 50 STP-DA funding to be determined internally by the MPO. <br />
