Minutes <br /> 7 The Board approved the minutes from September 26 and October 3, 2013 as submitted by the <br /> 8 Clerk to the Board. <br /> 9 b. Motor Vehicle Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> 10 The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to release motor vehicle <br /> 11 property tax values for twenty-three (23) taxpayers with a total of twenty-four (24) bills that will <br /> 12 result in a reduction of revenue in accordance with NCGS. <br /> 13 c. Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> 14 The Board adopted a resolution, which is incorporated by reference, to release property tax <br /> 15 values for twelve (12) taxpayers with a total of thirty-seven (37) bills that will result in a reduction <br /> 16 of revenue in accordance with North Carolina General Statute 105-381. <br /> 17 d. Applications for Property Tax Exemption/Exclusion <br /> 18 The Board approved six (6) untimely applications for exemption/exclusion from ad valorem <br /> 19 taxation for six (6) bills for the 2013 tax year. <br /> 20 e. Fiscal Year 2013-14 Budget Amendment#3 <br /> 21 The Board approved budget and grant project ordinance amendments for fiscal year 2013-14 <br /> 22 for Department on Aging; Department of Environment, Agriculture, Parks and Recreation <br /> 23 (DEAPR); Housing, Human Rights and Community Development; Department of Social <br /> 24 Services; Library Services; Health Department; Sheriff's Department, Solid Waste Department; <br /> 25 and the Board of County Commissioners. <br /> 26 g. Orange County Volunteer Application — Proposed Revisions <br /> 27 The Board approved proposed revisions to the Orange County Volunteer Application for <br /> 28 boards/commissions. <br /> 29 i. Orange Public Transportation Expansion Vehicles for FYs 2016-2020 <br /> 30 The Board approved a project funding request from Orange Public Transportation (OPT) to the <br /> 31 North Carolina Department of Transportation for three (3) expansion vehicles for fiscal years <br /> 32 (FYs) 2016-2020 and to authorize the Chair to sign the associated Local Funding Commitment <br /> 33 Form. <br /> 34 j. Amendment Outline and Schedule for Upcoming Item —Town of <br /> 35 Hillsborough/Orange County Interlocal Agreement Implementation —Adjustment of <br /> 36 Hillsborough Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) and Application of County Future <br /> 37 Land Use Map Classifications and Zoning <br /> 38 The Board authorized staff to proceed with steps for the adjustment of Hillsborough <br /> 39 Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) and application of County Future Land Use Map Classifications <br /> 40 and Zoning to affected areas according to the schedule proposed in the Amendment Outline <br /> 41 (Attachment 1). <br /> 42 <br /> 43 <br /> 44 7.
