The Arts in Action (AlA) program is a costly yet worthwhile investment in our students.
NC AIA recently started this program at Northside Elementary School and will continue classes through
March 2014 Fundraising for this program has begun at the school level and we have raised almost
$4,000. The PTA has agreed to give$1,000 to the NES AIA program This grant will increase that amount
to$2,000 this year and help us get to our goal of$15,000 to pay for this program at NES. We would like
to raise as much of the cost through grants so as to not burden our families in the community as much.
This grogram is solely funded through donations and grants(not through the school school system or
through the PTA directly)
Questions?
