PUBLIC SAFETY COMPLEX <br /> Pasquotank County, North Carolina <br /> Co-Located <br /> 5 <br /> F <br /> a <br /> OWNER CONTACT: The design forthis Public Safety Facility <br /> Randy Keaton was based on the recommendations <br /> County Manager and information provided in the Space <br /> 252 335-0865 <br /> ( ) P <br /> Needs Assessment completed for the <br /> SCNA ROLE: County under a prior contract with <br /> Architect of Record Stewart-Cooper-Newell Architects. <br /> PROJECT SCOPE: The ground floor of the new facility <br /> Site Study + houses the Sheriff's Office and the <br /> Planning District Attorney's office. The Sheriff's <br /> Programming + office has a secure evidence storage <br /> Concept center, work areas for the different <br /> Schematic Design <br /> Construction Doc. patrol groups, and interview rooms <br /> Bidding + and holding cells. The DA's office is <br /> Negotiation z, completely secure and isolated from <br /> Construction Admin. the Sheriff's office. Using card key <br /> SIZE: access and other security measures, a <br /> 37,942 SF safe work environment was created for <br /> the DA, its team, and other attorneys <br /> DATES: that needed a dedicated space to <br /> Construction review notes and evidence. <br /> Completed <br /> June 2007 The building's second floor houses <br /> PROJECT COST: the 911 Emergency Operations Center <br /> $12.36 million (In- w and Emergency Management offices <br /> cluded funding for along with additional facilities for the <br /> adjacent library) Sheriff's Department.
