The <br /> Facility & Fleet traditional look of the materials and the <br /> Services scale at which they were used united <br /> (919) 249-3534 the surrounding area's architectural <br /> language, responding to the personality <br /> Architect of Record of Apex. <br /> SCOPE: The Public Safety Station includes <br /> Site Planning 4' ` a Police Department office, EMS <br /> Programming + i office, server room and Fire office, <br /> Concept accompanied by a radio-report room <br /> Schematic Design <br /> Construction Doc. off of the entry lobby. A spacious day <br /> Construction Admin. room is located off of the kitchen with <br /> space for dining. All of the building's <br /> SIZE: spaces have direct, quick access to the <br /> 12,179 SF apparatus bays. Located off of the bays <br /> DATES: are a decontamination room, a tool shop <br /> Contruction and storage spaces. An efficient diesel <br /> Completed w" �;;,!„ d�u ll'ii generator can support the entire building <br /> August 2009 in the event of a power outage. <br /> COST: This station was designed, bid and built <br /> $2.22 million as part of a larger public safety project <br /> for the town that also included Stewart- <br /> Cooper-Newell's design services for a <br /> new Police Department Heaquarters <br /> I� II (separate facility). <br /> �N <br /> I� Ste art erlewell <br /> ° � , <br />
