The station's facade was <br /> mforestieri @wake- carefully crafted to blend with the local <br /> T <br /> gov.com ) aesthetic, incorporating a utility-brick <br /> ROLE: and standard-brick veneer. The utility <br /> 2, <br /> Architect of Record brick functions in this arrangement as <br /> the darker-colored water table and <br /> SCOPE: accent banding, with the standard brick <br /> Site Planning used for the remainder of the exterior. <br /> Programming + <br /> Concept <br /> Schematic Design The building's fire department spaces <br /> Sustainability include an educational training room <br /> Consulting and dayroom, as well as 12 beds in the <br /> Construction Doc. sleeping area. The EMS department <br /> Construction Admin. also has a dayroom, and beds for four <br /> SIZE: crew members plus a supervisor. <br /> 11,658 SF <br /> The facility's shared spaces include <br /> DATE: three double-length vehicle bays with <br /> Construction Com- full view aluminum overhead doors, <br /> pleted PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) <br /> December 2010 storage, and an exercise room.
