He noted the need for adequate storage and said this <br /> will be a big part of the initiative. <br /> He referred to the Under-utilized Assets slide and said the Asset Management Services <br /> North Admin Building sits on the highway 86 campus, adjacent to the OPT modular unit. He <br /> said this building is currently available and is a possible relocation site for OPT. <br /> Referring to Whitted, he mentioned a new alternative with more administrative office <br /> space or art space and said this will be presented at a later date. <br /> Architect, Mike Hammersly presented the next three slides <br /> East Campus Existing Conditions Analysis: (blueprint) <br /> East Campus Regulatory Analysis: (blueprint) <br /> East Campus Buildout Analysis: (blueprint) <br /> Facility & Property Report: <br /> • Updated annually and presented during budget season <br /> • Future features will include: <br /> - Estimated market values of appraisals for properties <br /> - More complete and descriptive insured values <br /> - Departmental use survey information <br /> Mike Hammersly reviewed the blueprint slides. He designated the geothermal well <br /> areas as well as the proposed new field. He said that the green denotes existing geothermal <br /> system at the Link Center; the blue is the proposed new geothermal well system; and the black <br /> is the Justice Center system. <br /> Chair Jacobs noted that there are existing geothermal wells between the Link Center <br /> and the Annex, and Mike Hammersly agreed. <br /> Commissioner Gordon asked for clarification on the geothermal system and Mike <br /> Hammersly reviewed the color designations. <br /> Mike Hammersly reviewed the regulatory items and noted the flood plains, stream <br /> buffers and road setbacks. <br /> Commissioner Rich asked how an area gets the archeological designation. <br /> Jeff Thompson said the County has a policy that requires a qualified archaeological <br /> study on county property. He said there are already maps in place that detail sensitive areas. <br /> Commissioner Rich asked what is done with these areas. <br />
