SOUTHERN HUMAN SERVICES CENTER <br /> 2501 Homestead Road, <br /> Chapel Hill, NC 27516 <br /> Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Public Hearing Notice — Orange County will <br /> hold a public hearing to consider potential projects for which funding may be applied under the <br /> CDBG Housing, Planning, Infrastructure and Economic Development programs. Suggestions <br /> for potential projects will be solicited, both verbally and in writing, from all interested parties. <br /> The expected amount of CDBG funds will be discussed along with the range of projects <br /> eligible under these programs and a review of previously funded projects. The hearing will <br /> begin at 7:00 p.m. on October 15, 2013, and will be held at Southern Human Services Center, <br /> 2501 Homestead Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27514. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities <br /> Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and <br /> services) during the hearing should notify Donna Baker at 919-245-2130 at least three days <br /> prior to the hearing that will be attended. <br /> Michael Talbert said the Board will need to act to keep this moving forward. <br /> Closed Session <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner McKee, seconded by Commissioner Pelissier to <br /> go into closed session at 9:40pm for the purpose of: <br /> Per NCGS § 143-318.11.
