She supports what can be done for the elderly <br /> but feels a good system is already in place. <br /> :ommissioner Halkiotis stated that the symposium was an opportunity for the providers to <br /> ynteract and support each other. <br /> Chair Carey stated the need to separate out what the County can do and cannot do in <br /> providing services to the teens. He wants the teens and families to be high on our <br /> priority list. <br /> The Board expressed interest in a general teen ombudsman who would guide teens through the <br /> county services and through county government. <br /> Discussion ensued on devising a system which would do case management and allow for sharing <br /> information.
