LEASE AMENDMENT-01D POLICE BUILDING(A copy of the lease amendment is <br /> in the permanent agenda file in the Clerk's office.) <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Carey, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Lloyd to approve the proposed lease amendment and authorize the 01mir to sign. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br /> 8* SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION OFFICE LEASE <br /> Motion was made by Coatmissioner Lloyd, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Carey to approve the lease agreement with Central Telephone Company for office <br /> space for one year at a cost of $2,400. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br /> 9. SPACE PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURAL SERVICE FOR CARR BUIIDING <br /> RENOVATION <br /> Commissioner Marshall questioned the hourly rate as provided by Gary <br /> Giles of Chapel Hill and Dail Dixon Associates of Carrboro. Bill Laws <br /> indicated that most of the renovation will take a lower level of expertise <br /> which will not necessitate paying the higher hourly rate listed. <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Carey, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Marshall to award Carr Building Architectural Services contract to CHR <br /> Associates at an amount not to exceed $15,460. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br /> R.
