6 <br /> Company Commitment Form <br /> III <br /> I <br /> I, Masao Hoshino , an official representative of Morinaga America Foods, Inc. <br /> company, do hereby certify that, if the application for the above referenced funds are <br /> approved, the Company will fulfill the following commitments: <br /> I <br /> 4- No other facilities will be abandoned nor will any other persons be displaced as a <br /> result of this project. <br /> I <br /> ❖ All positions created by this project will be newly created positions and the jobs <br /> will not be "pirated"from another facility owned or operated by the Company. <br /> • The Company will undertake and carry out the project in accordance with this <br /> application for CDBG-ED assistance. The information pertaining to the Company <br /> is accurate. <br /> ❖ The Company will retain 0 jobs and will create an additional 90 new jobs within <br /> the three year project period. Of the 90 jobs created, at least 60%will be filled by <br /> low and moderate-income persons. <br /> ❖ The Company agrees to either screen all applications and hires for the required <br /> employee statistical information and the required documentation or to allow the <br /> Employment Security Commission to perform these functions on their behalf. <br /> ❖ The Company will either provide the Grantee with a quarterly status report <br /> (including the ESC-101 report form)with sufficient detail for the Grantee to <br /> determine the number of hires and the low and moderate income status of each <br /> or will allow the Grantee or its representative to complete an on-site review of <br /> hiring information to develop a quarterly record of hiring status. This obligation <br /> will end at project close out unless the Commerce Finance Center reviews <br /> available information and grants the company permission to stop collecting the <br /> required data at an earlier date. <br /> Company Representative Date <br /> CDBG-ED Private Company Commitment Section 14 <br />
