3 <br /> Town <br /> of <br /> ff <br /> ills II <br /> RESOLUTION REQUESTING RE-APPOINTIVIEN T <br /> HISIme 17s TO AN EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION SEAT <br /> MON Twm of ON THE HILLSBOROUGH PLANNING BOARD <br /> WF1l Rl AS,as a result of the end of a term, it is necessary to re-appoint a volunteer to a seat reserved on the <br /> Hillsborough Planning Board for persons residing within the town's extraterritorial planning jUrisdiction; and <br /> V IME, <AS,by state statute and town ordinance, the Orange County Board of Commissioners initially has the <br /> authority and responsibility to appoint ETJ members to the town's Planning Board; and <br /> 4V11LREAS, the current volunteer is a member in good standing with the Board and wishes to serve a second <br /> term: <br /> i <br /> NOW,TIIERT 1=0R1s,':1"FIF BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE TOWN OF HILLSBOROUGFI � <br /> RESOT,VES: <br /> Section 1, The Orange County Board of Commissioners is respectfully rcgLiested to re-appoint the <br /> following individual to an ETJ seat on the 1=Iitlsborough Planning Board, whose term would expire in October <br /> 31, 2016: <br /> Ms.Erin Eckert <br /> 1811 Rams Way <br /> Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br /> I <br /> Section 2. If the Orange County board of Commissioners fails to appoint persons willing to serve in the <br /> capacity described above within 90 days after receiving this resolution, then the Billsborough Town Board may <br /> make this appointment. <br /> Section 3.
