Attachment 5: Resolution Endorsing Projects for the DCHC MPO Transportation 21 <br /> Improvement Program <br /> submitted as a Safe Routes to School (SRTS)-eligible project; however, if it is not funded as <br /> an SRTS project, the County will be required to commit a 20% local match. <br /> 17 Trail Connection from English Hill Lane to Buttonwood Drive: Construct a multi-use path <br /> connecting English Hill Lane to Buttonwood Drive. <br /> This project will be submitted as a new pedestrian project for consideration of inclusion in the <br /> DCHC MPO regional priority list and MTIP as well as the 2016-2022 STIP. The project will be <br /> submitted as a Safe Routes to School (SRTS)-eligible project; however, if it is not funded as <br /> an SRTS project, the County will be required to commit a 20% local match. <br /> 18 Eubanks Road Bike Lanes: Construct bicycle lanes on Eubanks Road (SR 1727) from Old NC <br /> 86 (SR 1009) to NC 86. <br /> This project will be submitted as a new bike project for consideration of inclusion in the DCHC <br /> MPO regional priority list and MTIP as well as the 2016-2022 STIP if the County commits the <br /> required 20% local match. The project will be submitted for consideration of STP-DA funding <br /> to be determined internally by the MPO. <br /> 19 Dairyland Road Paved Shoulders: Widen Dairyland Road (SR 1004/1113/1177) from Union <br /> Grove Church Road (SR 1111) to Orange Grove Road (SR 1006) to include four (4)-foot <br /> paved shoulders. <br /> This project will be submitted as a new bike project for consideration of inclusion in the DCHC <br /> MPO regional priority list and MTIP as well as the 2016-2022 STIP if the County commits the <br /> required 20% local match. The project will be submitted for consideration of STP-DA funding <br /> to be determined internally by the MPO. <br /> 20 Mt. Carmel Church Road Bike/Pedestrian Improvements: Construct bike lanes and sidewalks <br /> from US 15/501 to Bennett Road and bike lanes from Bennett Road to the Chatham County <br /> line. <br /> This project will be submitted as a new bike project for consideration of inclusion in the DCHC <br /> MPO regional priority list and MTIP as well as the 2016-2022 STIP if the County commits the <br /> required 20% local match.
