Baker (All other <br /> 21 staff members will be identified appropriately below) <br /> 22 ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION MEMBERS PRESENT: Chair Donna Coffey <br /> 23 and Board Members Steve Halkiotis, Tony McKnight, Debbie Piscitelli, and Lawrence Sanders. <br /> 24 Interim Superintendent Del Burns was also present. <br /> 25 ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION MEMBERS ABSENT: Brenda Stephens, Anne <br /> 26 Medenbleck, <br /> 27 CHAPEL HILL-CARRBORO CITY SCHOOL BOARD OF EDUCATION MEMBERS <br /> 28 PRESENT: Chair Michelle Brownstein and Board Members Mia Burroughs, James Barrett, <br /> 29 Jamezetta Bedford and Annetta Streater. <br /> 30 CHAPEL HILL-CARRBORO CITY SCHOOL BOARD OF EDUCATION MEMBERS ABSENT: <br /> 31 Gregory McElveen, Mike Kelly <br /> 32 <br /> 33 Chair Jacobs said he would like to add the following item to the agenda for the Board of <br /> 34 County Commissioners: Resolution Honoring Frank Clifton on his retirement. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> 37 RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING FRANK CLIFTON FOR SERVICE TO ORANGE COUNTY <br /> 38 <br /> 39 WHEREAS, Frank Clifton served for four years as Manager of Orange County and has filled <br /> 40 similar administrative positions in government in Florida, Tennessee, and several <br /> 41 counties in North Carolina; and <br /> 42 <br /> 43 WHEREAS, Frank Clifton helped lead Orange County through an extended period of national <br /> 44 economic turmoil when fiscal discipline, efficient operations, and creative adjustments <br /> 45 were the primary means of protecting the county's financial welfare and staying on track <br /> 46 to pursue its policy goals; and <br /> 47 <br /> 48 WHEREAS, Frank Clifton worked with commissioners and staff to improve the fiscal standing <br /> 49 and long-term financial health of Orange County government; and <br /> 50 <br />
