Our on-site Construction Field Representatives(CFR)have vast experience in wastewater infrastructure improvement projects.Their
experience enables them to evaluate construction activities and identify potential problems. With their working relationship with the Contractor,
our CFRs are able to communicate their concerns and assist in reducing the amount of nonconforming and/or defective work.Furthermore,
the CFRs complete daily project reports summarizing daily construction activities and identifying potential obstacles for upcoming construction
activities. These reports along with effective communication between the CFR and Construction Administrator assist in supplementing the
Contractor's planning in order to achieve a successful, quality project.
In order to reduce the amount of nonconforming or defective work and to assist in identifying any that may occur, construction materials
testing will be required in accordance with the plans and specifications, equipment manufacturer's recommendations and Regulatory Agency
requirements.Thorough and effective testing, along with the monitoring of these tests, provide assurance to the project team that the work has
been completed with the level of care required to produce a quality project. Furthermore,we understand the importance of a warranty review
after completion of the project. This final review provides added assurance to the Owner of the quality of the finished project.
Although we enjoy a good working relationship with many Contractors,we do reject nonconforming and/or defective work. We also have
expectations with regard to the timeliness in correcting workmanship and material deficiencies.
Schedule Adherence
The proposed schedule for completion for the project outlined in the Contract Documents and in the County's RFQ is,in our opinion, certainly
adequate for the level of work involved. Starting from that point,we will evaluate the Contractor's proposed schedule, request monthly updates,
and identify possible oversights in their scope, logic, sequence, and duration. We fully acknowledge that construction ways and means are
specific to the Contractor;however,McGill Associates has vast experience with the construction similar projects. This experience allows us to
quickly differentiate between critical vs.non-critical path activities and evaluate resource loading. Subsequently,we can immediately formulate
an opinion of the Contractor's position in schedule and completion.
Sample Project Schedule
....-
aa
na c« Via•..•+.-,e
fnio rNSfnre.awirwau:glyavw ..,. „yrsir.w'`. - '.r3r.fsr rRS.erar.a.s•.
NYMV ,>M arya tyruM 4Nrltrwna4»Mw. :
.v Mn , MlpM Sierrra•ur+nnree.v irr w.M+rr°nM
.Yra. t»Mmlelrng nw M.wiwr+e.crry rw'Y.i..Agf
Jrfv M.rewsY.r'wwa bwwuwfrr•:rarrW M.mg aia aarawr i.+aea..n-raeM+
lNtx re»:#Mrww+wt-i+►M ur p rx Mr1i.w Mma-Wi4Am :
ae
•rg !1101 tiM#w wrw YfrlMCMiMW
r...a.rrw we....u+...,
w«w»
»rt w,nwaw ass»
Ewa x,..a.a,.ti x.n ,„.xw ftartwrt
MfMe Ls rt „=,ywew.ecry erN
M am rye ti 4
♦yta. lvs*m-rN a-r-o 1a iN '>.m^•M i
'.w..snM Ytn fi1nMYr'ea»re .A.! w a nM Mae.rrla a.fe irMa Wew-..n
i wMeN a•feir #M 43#
.Yp9 NU+nitY eisfOYI MyNMnre ♦Mw e.Ww r M
eeM rw,tr.fMM M.wPr pa» w :: epe or+Mi.[+rR>f.hM Mwtw
w'- ?-Fr» .rb» A...NfRw MR ♦nMMea%r 1.
AY-r--wsre4 BN/M4.a.. ° M„"YiwYRitW Miiaxt
tfXK rnskf ^N.s yy :r+WM+1.ar :
aM e.Y.eae.rrru wwba ar K sairel msw'r Y.sr K16e
N
iMe+WM- N-[iw •wm..aaea.mr±rM
rw r
•M arrf waf.tact+cwA ay Y' ♦1NaAlaPi,..wr h eMr
truv."
