Section IV: Project Manaaement Approach <br /> • Provide a detailed narrative statement of the firm's perception of the project requirements, <br /> outlining any unique features or conditions that appear to need special attention and that the <br /> firm and proposed project team may be particularly well qualified to address. <br /> • Verify that your firm can begin services as soon as the construction contract for the project has <br /> been signed and approved by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners. <br /> • Include in your proposal the estimated amount of time needed for your firm to Certify the <br /> adequacy of the design prior to the beginning of construction, i.e. the Consultant will indemnify <br /> the County and the original design engineer for the design and take responsibility for the <br /> design of the system going forward <br /> • Include a proposed timeline including estimated Construction Administration hours to <br /> successfully supervise the project as detailed in this RFP. The Owner will be responsible for <br /> all property owner and media liaison responsibilities. <br /> Section V: SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS <br /> 1. Proposals shall include statements of interest, ability to complete the work within the required time, <br /> experience, and qualifications. All qualified firms are invited to submit proposals; two (2) copies on <br /> either thumb drives or CD's and two (2) hard copies are required (one clearly marked "ORIGINAL"). <br /> Hard copies must be bound with printing on both sides of sheet on recycled paper with the exception <br /> of tab or divider pages. The electronic file shall be in pdf format and shall be a single file. <br /> 3. Proposals received after the set time for receipt shall not be considered and shall be returned <br /> unopened to the proposer. <br /> 4. Orange County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive <br /> irregularities, and to reissue any request for proposals. <br /> 5 <br />
