5 <br /> bicycle access on the main collector(Beverstone Drive)through Phases II and III. <br /> This recommendation has been incorporated in the attached Resolution of Approval, as <br /> a requirement that such access be incorporated into the design of Beverstone Drive. <br /> A copy of the study was also sent to NCDOT,but no comments were received. <br /> Parkland Dedication <br /> On July 11, 1995, the Recreation and Parks Advisory Council (RPAC)received an <br /> informational report from the Planning Staff concerning seven individual Concept <br /> Plans which had been approved in the vicinity of NC 10,New Hope Church Road and <br /> University Station Road. The Recreation and Parks Master Plan calls for a district <br /> park in the vicinity of the project area. RPAC indicated general support for the <br /> potential dedication of parkland in the area provided that it contain at least 25 "high <br /> and dry" acres. <br /> Dedication of a 30-acre park site on the north side of NC 10 at New Hope Church <br /> Road was included in the consolidated Concept Plan.
