Memorandum <br /> 24 <br /> Date: 05/7/96 <br /> To: Mary Willis <br /> CC: Ge Bell <br /> From: Slfde McCali <br /> P <br /> Subject Traffic Impact Analysis for University Manor, March 12, 1996, Orange County, NC <br /> This memo is to inform you that 1 have reviewed the above mentioned Traffic Impact Analysis and <br /> have the following comments: <br /> a) that the methods used and the findings presented on page 5 are reasonable, <br /> b) that the conclusion and recommendations for mitigation on pages 5&6 will be adequate to <br /> address traffic conditions at the entrances mentioned and I also recommend that left turn lanes <br /> be constructed at entrances A&D also, <br /> c) that the left turn lanes for each entrance be completed before each Phase begins construction, <br /> d) that lots 9 through 14 in Phase IV be accessed by an internal street and not on Old NC 10, and <br /> e) that some provision(multi-use path or additional lane width on the main collector street through <br /> Phases II &111) be made for pedestrian and bicycle access from each Phase to the proposed <br /> Park Area. <br /> Please call me at ext 2595 if you have any questions about these comments. <br />
