This comprehensive program provides flexible self-help for alcohol/drug addicted <br /> individuals in the criminal justice system of Orange and Chatham Counties. Clients are assessed on <br /> an individual basis and referred to the level of treatment deemed most appropriate. Treatment may <br /> include outpatient services, inpatient services, or residential self-help. <br /> Case management of these clients is provided by the TASC (Treatment Alternatives to Street Crime) <br /> Program, also administered by OPC Mental Health Center. <br /> The attached contract in the amount of$100,941.00 provides for the continuation of a multi-county <br /> substance abuse program for this targeted population. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the contract and <br /> authorize the chair to sign. <br />
