A Request For Proposals was <br /> mailed in July, and two candidates were interviewed by the Shaping Orange <br /> County's Future Steering Committee of elected officials on August 27. On <br /> September 4,the Steering Committee selected the Dispute Settlement Center's <br /> proposal. <br /> The Dispute Settlement Center will plan and facilitate the Task Force kickoff <br /> retreat on the weekend of November 15-16 and will also plan and facilitate later <br /> steps in the process as well as an Assembly of Governments meeting at the <br /> conclusion of the project. Total estimated costs for the services are$16,070 -with <br /> $5,150 expected to be incurred during FY 96-97. This amount is within the <br /> amount budgeted in the SOCF project budget, and funds are currently on hand for <br /> the 96-97 expenses. <br />
