34 <br />3 -5 Years <br />• Permanent EMS stations will need to be built in strategic areas. The 510 building should <br />be expanded to provide break space, showers, and dressing areas for EMS personnel. <br />5 -10 Years <br />• The EOC and 9 -1 -1 Center should be moved out of the 510 building and a new, <br />hardened facility should be built that can handle severe weather events, with increased <br />space, and training areas. <br />Environmental Health (West Campus Office Building) <br />1. Spaces are closed off and it is difficult for front desk to track staff location . <br />2. Front desk area is not customer friendly. Counters are too high and are not ADA <br />compliant. <br />3. Noise level is entirely too high at the front desk. <br />4. Staff use personal cellphones for business communication, even at their workstations, <br />however the signal strength is inadequate at WCOB <br />5. Space is not large enough for full staff. <br />6. File cabinets are overloaded and broken. <br />7. There is No break area on this floor <br />Farm Service Agency (Environment and Agriculture Center) <br />No major issues. <br />3 -5 Years <br />• In -house customer service will continue. <br />5 -10 Years <br />• The agency is driven by customer service. Though technology may increase the needs <br />will be the same. <br />Health (All Locations) <br />1. Need art on the walls and a friendlier welcoming lobby space. <br />2. Front desk ergonomics needs improvement. <br />3. Extreme fluctuations in temperature are unpleasant for clients and staff and affect <br />clinical lab procedures i.e. lab temps must be maintained within a range for testing to be <br />performed accurately. <br />Health Southern Human Services Center <br />1. Clinic space limited <br />2. There is no natural light in clinical space is cold not pleasing. Needs painting. Does not <br />present a pleasant environment to clients. <br />3. There is virtually no meeting space at.. DSS has rooms but they are always booked. No <br />rooms have projectors. <br />Health ( Whitted Human Services Center) <br />1. The Whitted Human Services Center is an older building, stairs are not designed for <br />
